Walter Krol passed away on May 5, 2017. Born in Poland on March 25, 1927, he served in the US Army over 20 years doing tours in Korea and Vietnam. After retiring, he resided in Orlando opening a barbershop in Pine Hills where he worked for 10 years. Married to his loving wife, Lydia, of 43 yeas, they enjoyed raising their family and being active members of the Polish National Alliance attending events and dancing many Polkas. After the passing of his beloved wife, he decided to live part time, then full time in Sarasota...

Walter Krol passed away on May 5, 2017. Born in Poland on March 25, 1927, he served in the US Army over 20 years doing tours in Korea and Vietnam. After retiring, he resided in Orlando opening a barbershop in Pine Hills where he worked for 10 years. Married to his loving wife, Lydia, of 43 yeas, they enjoyed raising their family and being active members of the Polish National Alliance attending events and dancing many Polkas. After the passing of his beloved wife, he decided to live part time, then full time in Sarasota living out the remainder of his years enjoying hearty, competitive shuffle board and white sandy beaches. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Clark, and wife, Lydia. He is survived by his son, Walter; daughter, Barbara "Basia" Simoneaux (Rene); and grandchildren, Scott Clark, Lilly and Melanie Langdon. Military graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, at 10am at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha. Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida
