Reva M. Erickson (85) of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully under the care of Lake Bennet Health and Vitas healthcare on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Reva was born on May 15, 1932 in Wellsville, New York to the late Milon Smith and Lillian Alsworth Smith. She was the youngest of 4 children, including her twin sister, Rita. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1950, worked as a telephone operator, and was united in holy matrimony to Einard 'Ike' D. Erickson on July 18, 1953. Reva M. Erickson (85) of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully under the care of Lake Bennet Health and Vitas healthcare on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Reva was born on May 15, 1932 in Wellsville, New York to the late Milon Smith and Lillian Alsworth Smith. She was the youngest of 4 children, including her twin sister, Rita. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1950, worked as a telephone operator, and was united in holy matrimony to Einard 'Ike' D. Erickson on July 18, 1953. This union was blessed with 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Reva relocated with her family to Orlando, Florida in 1957, and was very active in First Baptist of Orlando and later with Powers Drive Baptist Church. She was a loving stay at home wife and mother for years, returning to work in later years as a PBX operator for Sunbank and Martin Marietta. After retirement, she worked as a Pink Lady and Volunteer Coordinator for Health Central Hospital until she experienced a stroke in 2001. She loved to bowl, golf, travel, read, do crosswords and most of all laugh. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Einard D. Erickson; sister Betty Glover; and brother Ray Smith.

Her beautiful, kind spirit will forever be cherished in the lives of her twin sister Rita (Glenn) Gibson of Ormond Beach, Fl: her daughters Brenda (Dennis) Berto of Orlando, Fl; Melinda (Jose) Baerga of Winter Garden, Fl; and Janet (Stan) Shipley of Clermont, Fl: her grandchildren Jennifer, Audrey, Christian, Daniel and Olivia; sister-in-law, Doris Erickson of Jamestown, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11am with burial to follow. All services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery of Gotha, Fl.
